U16 Girls accepted into the Midwest Regional League

07/07/2011

Congratulations to the OBSC U16 girls (playing U17, Fall 2011) in their acceptance into the Midwest Regional League (MRL). They have been recognized as one of the top 24 teams in the midwest and a top team in the State of Illinois. This is our first team at OBSC ever to play in the MRL and we are excited that these girls have opened up the door to other OBSC teams including your daughter. This group has been together for 5 years playing top soccer teams throughout the midwest and competing at the highest level. Their journey was not easy, they continued to play the toughest teams they could find and after many years of hard work their dedication to the team and game has paid off. Congratulations!

The MIDWEST REGIONAL LEAGUE (MRL) mission is to provide the highest standard of competitive play for youth teams in US Youth Soccer Region II (the Midwest Region) and to assure the continued growth and development of elite level players. Very simply we are here for the BEST TEAMS…BEST PLAYERS…BEST COMPETITION. All of us associated with the MRL strive to provide the absolute best high-level competitive environment for our teams. We are here to serve the elite US Youth Soccer affiliated teams and are cognizant of the choices that these teams have in participating in events, tournaments and leagues in order to showcase their players. The MRL offers the absolute best league competition in our area as teams vie for the chance to earn spots into the Midwest Regionals as part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series.
